Programme Development Unit Officer - Adaptation - Fiji
The Programme Development Officer – Adaptation will play a crucial role in addressing climate change by assisting the Department of Climate Change (DoCC) to develop and implement strategies to assess risks, identify vulnerabilities, and create plans to enhance resilience to climate-related challenges. The role will also assist the DoCC to support line ministries and other partners to access climate financing opportunities. The Officer will primarily lead the development of concept notes and project proposals and support the development, implementation, and overseeing strategies and initiatives to help adapt to the impact of climate change within government and partner organisations. The role will involve assessing risks, identifying vulnerabilities, and creating plans to enhance resilience to climate-related challenges.
