Nauru

Support provided to Nauru under the Climate Finance Capacity Support Programme (CFCSP) aims to increase coordination and delivery of climate action across 4 key departments. Personnel will be recruited on behalf of the Departments of Climate Change and National Resilience, National Emergency Services, Education, and the Nauru Fisheries and Marine Resources Authority.

The CFCSP will also provide short-term technical specialists to develop drought management plans, incorporate climate change into early education curriculum, and provide advice on climate-resilient corals to support the restoration of their surrounding reefs.
