The Climate Finance Capacity Support Programme’s (CFCSP) ‘Backing Pacific Climate Priorities’ series is generated through the CFCSP’s monitoring, evaluation, research and learning system. ‘Backing Pacific Climate Priorities’ documents the value of CFCSP support to Pacific governments as they deliver on their climate priorities, including through strengthened systems, greater human resource and expertise capabilities, and enhanced readiness for climate finance. 

Each issue captures examples of how country-led priorities are being progressed – from embedding technical expertise in government ministries, to improving coordination across sectors and unlocking access to climate finance. Drawing on both qualitative insights and quantitative data, they provide a record of practical change underway across the Pacific and the role of the CFCSP in enabling this progress. Together, these stories show how targeted, responsive support for Pacific countries translate climate ambitions into action.
